Abstract:-
The concept of change is fairly broad. Even though change is all around us, not all of it is what we call social change. Therefore, changes in the seasons or a person’s physical progress from year to year do not qualify as social changes. In this context, social change is defined as modifications to social connections and social structures. Any modification to a social group’s or societies social structure is referred to as social change. Social change is influenced by a number of elements, including political, economic, cultural, technical, and educational developments. According to sociologists, social change is the result of modifications to interpersonal connections and interactions that alter social structures and cultural norms. These alterations take place gradually and frequently have significant long-term effects on society. Numerous factors, such as changes in population growth and composition, technological advancements, cultural shifts, political shifts, economic shifts, educational shifts, and social conflict, can influence social development. Advancements in society, higher living standards, and more equal access to resources are all possible outcomes of social development. It can also aid in society’s adjustment to novel situations and difficulties.
